Martin Family [LIFE] session | Documentary Photographer Austin

Since launching [LIFE] sessions almost two months ago, each inquiry and family I get to shoot seriously makes my heart go pitter-patter. I am so loving how unique and special each ones of these sessions is. Each family has chosen a part of their every day for me to document, making each session and scenario totally different and unique to the individual family. This is exactly what I intended these sessions to be all about. The everyday, the times we may take for granted, but the truly important times that will matter in the future when our kids are grown. ” I think it’s so cool to capture these moments, the everyday that we’ll never get back.  I feel like we stopped the clock just a little by commemorating this especially fleeting moment in our lives with 2 little ones who are growing up way too fast.” – mama

The Martin family and I spent the afternoon together biking/walking to their favorite park, playing hide and seek, having a picnic and just enjoying the afternoon. After we wrapped up with one of their favorite board games at their dining room table and spent some quiet time together. “My favorite image is the one you got of me looking at Juni while we were playing the game at the table. It was my marveling at my little girl, in awe of her beauty and energy.” – mama
