Since 2012, I have photographed over 1,000 fun-loving families in Austin and the surrounding areas. But whether I’m photographing families at home or teams in their offices, I love showing my clients the beauty in everyday life.

There is just something so magical about the first year of your baby’s life. It’s hard, grueling hard. But also, intensely rewarding and special all at the same time. Watching them go from a tiny little squish to practically a toddler in the short span of a year is completely mind-blowing.
My First Year clients get to experience this both for themselves, and have visual documentation through their three sessions with me (newborn, 6 month and one year) and it’s so incredible when we sit down to make the album the change that occurred. Growing with families through the first year (and onward!) is 100% my favorite part of this job. Here’s a peek at a few of H’s 1 year photos done at Sekrit Theater in East Austin.
