Since 2012, I have photographed over 1,000 fun-loving families in Austin and the surrounding areas. But whether I’m photographing families at home or teams in their offices, I love showing my clients the beauty in everyday life.
2021 | Year In Review | Austin Lifestyle Photographer
Whew, 2021! My year as an Austin Lifestyle Photographer was filled with the unexpected, a lot of amazing families and babies (300+!) and a big surprise to finish it out!
I didn’t think I would start 2021 as Little Dreamers Photography (it’s been almost 10 years since I started!) and end it as Alissa Cordoba Photography + Films. It’s been a year filled with growth and change and I couldn’t let it end without a quick little recap of my year as a photographer in Austin.

January + February
These months were filled with babies! Count 9 months backwards and you hit April/May 2020…just sayin’. 🙂 We also celebrated Finn, my youngest turning one in February!
March + April
I saw so many spring babies + families, scheduled and rescheduled bluebonnet sessions (thanks to that crazy winter storm!) and hosted a beautiful Motherhood Event at Barr Mansion for 20 amazing mamas and their children.
May-August
You guessed it – more families, Baby’s First Year Clients, and a few super fun brand photoshoots + a brand film. I also finally got to see my family from South Dakota in July after two years, and I started my rebrand with Carry Love Designs. Fall Mini Session signups went out in August and they were quickly snatched up!
September-November
The absolute busiest months for any family photographer! Between full sessions and mini sessions, I saw 143 families within these three months, and hosted 6 mini session events. I partnered with Minted and WishWell House in October for a fun “influencer” event. I also loved shooting this Brand Film with Etch Design Group.
December
This was a big month! I had some family sessions to wrap up, and the end of it was filled with babies, babies, babies and booking clients for 2022. And the most exciting? I finally got to reveal my new brand + website I had been working on for the last 5 months!
So, what’s the scoop with 2022?
Really great things! I will say that if you are expecting a new baby in 2022, now is the time to reach out! Spring is filling up quickly, and booking early ensures your spot in my calendar. I only accept a certain number of babies per month to keep my sessions as high quality as possible. You can view your newborn options here.
I am also booking family sessions through mid-2022, and will be accepting fall bookings soon. I photograph Tuesday-Saturday. Outdoor sessions are scheduled for 730/8am and about 1.5 hours before sunset. If you seek an in-home session, we will work together for the best time!
