Since 2012, I have photographed over 1,000 fun-loving families in Austin and the surrounding areas. But whether I’m photographing families at home or teams in their offices, I love showing my clients the beauty in everyday life.

Times are WEIRD. I think that goes without saying. But, I’m feeling extremely grateful right now to still be able to do what I love, while helping families still document the special times that are happening.

I also extra thankful for the mama below, who took the time to share about her experience with newborn photos in their home in May.
“We made sure to secure Alissa several months in advance of our sons due date to ensure she was available to document those special first few days of our sons life! Our due date was March 18th, and as that day neared we knew our chances of being able to have a professional photographer come to us was not going to be feasible. By the time our son finally made his appearance on March 26th, stay at home orders were well underway and I sadly accepted that he would not have professional newborn photos like his sister. Alissa reassured me that even photos at 6-7-or-8 weeks would be special and document just how “new” and tiny he still was. Finally on May 6th after Alissa’s business was able to resume, we had her come to our home after discussing the precautions that would be taken. Alissa assured us that she would wash hands upon entering, wear a mask, direct me to position our son so that she remained contact-less and she would keep distance while in our home. Once she arrived she worked seamlessly to stick with this plan and keep her distance while working her magic. She exhibited so much patience while I tried to manipulate the “perfect position” and went with the flow of our natural movements. Upon receiving our photos we quickly realized that the quarantine hadn’t taken away the newborn shoot we dreamt of – as Alissa was still able to provide the very best photos, even 6 weeks after birth. Thank you, Alissa, for capturing our happiness and joy during these unprecedented times.
