An Austin Family Session with the B Family

We all know and love Austin. This is a city overflowing with creative energy, eclectic charm, and beautiful nature scapes. It’s also a city brimming with endless photo opportunities. As an Austin family photographer, I never get tired of doing a family session in the city that I call home.

So, what happens when you combine an adventurous family, a creative photographer, and the iconic spirit of Austin? You get a kaleidoscope of memories captured in photographs, each as unique as the city itself.

For this recent family session, the B Family and I went on a true adventure. But this wasn’t just any adventure! I’ve been doing this long enough to know where all the great spots are!

To be sure we took advantage of all this city has to offer, we took to the streets filled with history and character, as well as charming storefronts. I was thrilled to create an endless supply of colorful and fun images during this Austin family session.

HOW TO USE IMAGERY TO TELL YOUR STORY DURING YOUR FAMILY SESSION

During our time together, we hunted down some of the most colorful and eye-catching backdrops we could find. Of course we used several murals, the iconic Austin skyline and greenery walls.

As inspiring as these visuals are to look at, incorporating diverse backdrops isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about storytelling. Each unique location added a brushstroke to the larger narrative. When we were planning this family session, we knew that we wanted the family’s love of Austin to be shared. And I think we did just that! As we explored different spots throughout the city, there was an element of fun and adventure, making the entire session an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
