Can I still get newborn photos during a pandemic? The answer is, YES! As long as you feel comfortable, and it is right for your family.
Currently, I am still booking Lifestyle Newborn Sessions with several safety measures in place. While the world has slowed down, babies are still being born and that beautiful time still deserves to be documented.
A word from the incredible mama in these photos, who gave birth in April and had her newborn session in May:
“Alissa was fabulous during our contact-less newborn photo-shoot!
She arrived at our home wearing a mask and promptly removed her shoes. Then she washed her hands before touching any of her camera gear. Throughout the entire photo-shoot she gave us verbal prompting to readjust as necessary. She never came into any physical contact with any family member. She also maintained safe physical distance from us.
I was more at ease knowing she was social distancing and minimizing any other contacts prior to our photo-shoot. It was important to me to maintain some sort of normalcy during this very abnormal time in our lives, and continuing on with our photo-shoot did just that. Alissa was able to take our first picture as a family of four since our older daughter couldn’t visit us during our hospital stay. I will always cherish these photos because they provided us sweet and peaceful memories during such a chaotic and weird time.”
